Claw back your inner reptilian. — According to the insight by the neuroscientist Paul MacLean, deep inside the skull of every one of us, there is some part like a brain of a crocodile and this oldest reptilian layer is called the R-complex. This hypothesis became familiar to a broader audience through Carl Sagan's Pulitzer prize winning 1977 book The Dragons of Eden. Since then, this theory has been regarded as a myth.
